Attorneys running riot are the ones controlling the courtroom." - - Veteran court watcher

We recommend creating and/or purchasing a judicial report at USAjudges.com

Especially for the San Diego judges county allowing Fritz to run up legal costs to the detriment of all but the attorneys, involved.

April, 2009.

On May 17, 2007, we posted we were officially Tired of hearing from people who hired Jeffrey Fritz, complain of his sleazy, dishonest tactics, later.

Thus, for anyone contemplating hiring Fritz in a divorce or custody action, we suggest first checking out past lawsuits against his firm, Basie & Fritz, and then reviewing some of the emails we received (below) from some of Jeff Fritz's former clients.

However, and as an update, we now offer the Jeff Fritz solution! Based on the emails we've received, we encourage clients to consider the Jeff Fritz solution immediately. As in within seconds of signing Fritz's Retainer Agreement.

Filing a complaint against an attorney with the State Bar.

Remember: We didn't hire Jeff Fritz, you did. Our belief is the Basie & Fritz law firm with Jeff Fritz leading the way, redefines the meaning of, "Buyer Beware."

For those unaware and still gullible, please consider statements from some Jeff Fritz's past clients.

"In my simple divorce case, I was deposed by Basie and Fritz for nine freaking hours! An incredible amount of dumb questions about info that was previously included in documents I had submitted to them that they simply neglected to review. They churned out unnecessary motions, subpoenaed everyone, collected box loads of papers, and kept my gullible ex-wife angry at me. But they didn't work at making a logical case. They got huge bucks by pumping a simple 50/50 divorce case into an angry mess."

From another client of Basie & Fritz:
"I am an unfortunate current client of Basie & Fritz. God help me¦When I first met Jeff for a consultation, he boasted that he could get my divorce done quickly in a matter of a few months, it is now more than 1 and ½ years later and I have spent over $50K with few hard results. Jeff is immature, and completely full of himself. He and his office has made numerous, serious mistakes that have resulted in a large amount of duplication, time, and money for me. The amount of paperwork they have generated has even made the Judge pause and complain. I am so sorry that I ever got involved with his firm.
I wish there were more real information on attorneys out there so that we can try to make a good selection when we need one. I wish I had taken your suggestion to consult with him, and then find a better attorney.
If it stops just one person from hiring him, it is worth it."

"May 2, 2005

Good Afternoon,
I read your website article regarding Basie & Fritz.
If I had only read or knew this information before I retained them; I have never seen or heard of a law firm that can drag out and run up ridiculous, out-of-control billing of charges in all of my life. Over $10,000 for a simple uncontested divorce in which I drafted and revised the Marriage Settlement Agreement myself.
I will never refer that money sucking law firm to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to read this."

To others: We recommend challenging Judges who tolerate Fritz's dishonesty. These include but are not limited to: Ashworth, Bostwick, Clements, (a commissioner) Howatt, and Lewis. Howatt and Ashworth are now "private judges" and thus, even more out-of-control than usual.

That said, Jeff Fritz is the funniest attorney, although he doesn't mean to be.

(Fritz used to drive a Red, Trans Am. Is there anyone over the age of twenty-five who doesn't know what men are compensating for when they bomb around in a red sports car after a certain age?)

Below is a typical letter from one of his Former, clients.

Although the oily Robert Basie, kindly dropped dead in 2003, perhaps alone in a motel room; the firm lives on, duping the angry into parting with their finances. Unfortunately, the firm doesn't pony up to their obligations.

Check local records for reams of small claims (as well as at the Superior Court level) filed by former clients as well as those employed by Basie and Fritz, ranging from Knox Attorney Service, Legal Reprographics, Planatrk Ventures to Howard A. Godwin & Associates.

Click back for details of the successful action against them for malfeasance, not covered under malpractice insurance, but,

details of their motion churning, asset burning philosophy, click to, "The San Diego Union Tribune" on the left.
